Ryan Krogh is a writer, editor and journalist, having worked as an editor in the magazine industry for more than a decade. He has a passion for telling compelling stories with interesting characters like rafting down a remote river in Peru for a profile of a legendary whitewater guide or chasing the Great American Eclipse across the U.S. with his yellow Labrador

Ryan currently works from his home-base of Austin, Texas writing for dozens of magazines and newspapers from GQ and The Guardian to Travel & Leisure, AARP, Garden & Gun, Texas Monthly, Scientific American and more. Previously, he was the features editor at Men’s Journal and longtime editor at Outside magazine.
